Error code C-0144 for Bizhub Press 1250 1250P 1052 Bizhub Pro 951

Code: C-0144
 Classification: PI-PFU: Power abnormality
Cause: 
PI-PFU (PF-703) SD/CL power abnormality.
At the start, the error detection signal of the PFUDB solenoid/clutch IPC blowout id detected.                                                                                                                               
Measures to take when alert occurs:                                                              
The main body and the option stop immediately.                                               
Estimated abnormal parts:
  • PF drive board (PFUDB: PF-703)
Correction: 
Turn OFF/ON the power switch (SW2) of the main body when releasing an abnormal condition                                                                                                  
 Note: "Please call service" is displayed on the touch  panel.                                         

Solution:                                                                                                               

  1. Check the connector connection and the wiring on PFUDB, and repair it if any abnormality.
  2. Check the drive and the coupling of the solenoid and the clutch connected to the PFUDB, repair/replace it if any abnormality, and then replace PFUDB
  3. Replace PFUDB
  4. If the same error cord occurs even after replacing PFUDB, replace the connected solenoid, the clutch and PFUDB at a time.
