Classification: LS (2nd tandem): LS abnormality
Cause:
The stacker tray encoder sensor (PS2) does not turn ON within a specified period of time after the stacker tray up down motor (M1) turns ON. Or, the initial operation or the stacker tray down operation is not completed within a specified period of time.
Measures to take when alert occurs:
The main body and the option stop immediately.
Estimated abnormal parts:
- Stacker tray up down motor (M1)
- LS control board (LSCB)
Correction:
Press the help key, and activate and deactivate the sub power switch (SW2) of the main body.
Note:
- Faulty part isolations allows you to use the machine temporarily.
- When you press the help key, the messages "Please call service" and "Press [Help] to disengage" are alternately displayed.
- When you press the help key, the message "Please turn on power again" is displayed.
Solution:
- Check the stacker tray up down section, and clean/repair it if any abnormality.
- Check the connector connection and the wiring between LSCB and motor/sensor, and repair it if any abnormality.
- Check the I/O drive of the motor and the coupling of the gear, and repair and replace it if an abnormality is found. (Wiring diagram: LS-505: 5-A, LS-506: 5-A)
- Check the sensor, and repair replace it when there is any abnormality. (Wiring diagram: LS-505: 5-A, LS-506: 4-A)
- Replace PS2.
- Replace M1.
- Replace LSCB.
